Newhaven School supports students with a diverse range of needs across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Their Newhaven Gardens school is a pupil referral unit for those who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from a mainstream school, while their King’s Park campus is a specialist provision for KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils with a diagnosis of autism.
Although Newhaven’s previous website provider specialised in the development of school websites, this ultimately led to them being stranded with an outdated, templated online home and a bulky CMS that was not fit for purpose.
Newhaven therefore required a new website – specifically one which better reflected the school and its students, was far more flexible and easy to maintain, and above all else allowed for the speedy publishing of new content and important updates for parents and carers.
We delivered a completely bespoke website for Newhaven that was built from the ground up in order to suit all their needs. This included an emphasis on news announcements, ease of access to online learning providers, and important curriculum and policy information – all in keeping with statutory requirements.
We continue to provide Newhaven with ongoing support, including the hosting and maintenance of the website, as well as content publishing and SEO optimisation.
