Any of these problems sound familiar to you?
If you nod along to any of these, you’re in the right place. Here’s how I deal with each one.
“My last web person has gone quiet on me.”
I usually reply within an hour, and you always deal with me directly, never a ticket system.
“I need a new website but I don’t know where to start.”
I tell you honestly what you need and what you don’t, give you a fixed price in writing, and handle the rest.
“Marketing and SEO are like a foreign language.”
I explain things in plain English and do the work, with a monthly report showing what’s actually moving.
“I haven’t got time to do any website admin.”
Hosting, backups, security and updates are covered for a flat £95 a month, so you never have to think about it.
Recognise yourself in one of these? Let’s talk it through, with no obligation.

What clients say about working with me
A little about me
I spent years in digital publishing, rising to Digital Editor at Bauer Media, before going self-employed in 2015.
Since then I’ve built and looked after websites for small businesses of all kinds. My long-term goal is to make Masterplan Digital a family business, with my wife joining me full-time. That’s why I only take on clients I want to look after for years to come.
Self-employed since

Former Digital Editor
“We are so happy we found Jon to build and look after our website. He is amazing! Knowing I can just WhatsApp him whenever I need to make changes to the website makes things so easy. And he is so quick and efficient with those changes, I can always be confident that our website is fully up to date for our clients. It really makes a huge difference to our business.”
FAQ
How much does a website cost?
Website design starts from £595 as a one-off fixed fee, and the website is yours to keep once it’s paid for. A small, simple site costs less than a larger one with several service pages, a blog or extra features, so I’ll always give you a clear price in writing before any work begins. No hidden costs and no surprises. After launch, looking after your site is a flat £95 a month, and my marketing bundles start from £395 a month and include that plan.
How long does a website take to build?
Most projects take between four and eight weeks from our first chat to launch, depending on size and how quickly content and feedback come back to me. I’ll always give you a realistic timeline as part of your proposal, so you know what to expect from day one.
Do I need to know anything technical?
Not at all – that’s the whole point of working with me. I’ll handle the technical side, explain anything you need to know in plain English, and you’ll never be left dealing with confusing jargon or support tickets.
What happens after my website launches?
I don’t disappear once your site goes live. Hosting, backups, security updates, speed checks, a monthly performance report and small content changes are all covered by one flat rate of £95 a month. If you ever need a change, a new page or just some advice, you can message me directly on WhatsApp. If you’d like help bringing in more enquiries, my marketing bundles start from £395 a month and include everything in the £95 plan, so you never pay for hosting twice.
Do you only build websites, or can you help with marketing too?
Both. Alongside web design, I offer content marketing, copywriting and Google Business Profile management as monthly marketing bundles (Grow, Scale or Bespoke) from £395 a month. Every bundle includes your hosting and maintenance, so you have one person to call for your whole online presence, not several different suppliers.
Will my website work with AI tools like ChatGPT?
Yes, as far as anyone honestly can. I write and structure every page so it’s clear for both Google and AI assistants: direct answers near the top of each section, descriptive headings, FAQs and properly marked-up business details. Nobody can guarantee that an AI assistant will recommend your business, and I’d never promise that, but clear, well-organised content gives you the best chance of being found, however people choose to search.
Do you work with businesses outside South East London and Kent?
Yes – while most of my clients are based across South East London and Kent, I work with small businesses across the whole of the UK.
Let's talk
I work best with business owners who want their website done properly, and who are keen to invest in growing online. If that sounds like you, a free consultation is the place to start.
The free consultation is a relaxed chat about your business and what you need, by phone or video. It takes about 15 minutes, and there’s no obligation to go ahead.
